Starr

Starr joined our team in 2021 as a veterinary assistant. She was born and raised in the Baraboo area and still resides nearby. In her free time, Starr enjoys spending time with friends, attending Brewer's games, listening to paranormal and true crime podcasts, and be sure to check out her fingernails when you see her! While she still has room in her heart and home for a dog, she currently has three cats. When Oliver isn't eating, you will find him curled up for a catnap. Scooter is your typical orange cat who always keeps his family on their toes. Last but not least, Nina is the head of the household and she runs a tight ship.

Starr has always dreamed of a career in animal care, particularly working with orthopedic cases. This is why she also enjoys working part-time at Edinger Surgical Options in Madison. Her favorite aspects of veterinary medicine are the continuous learning opportunities and the unique experiences with different animals every day. You can often find Starr doting over inpatients, as her philosophy is that "kisses and tail wags make even the worst day better.
