Starr joined our team in 2021 as a Veterinary Assistant. She was born and raised in the Baraboo area and still lives nearby. In her free time Starr enjoys spending time with friends, attending Brewer’s games, listening to paranormal and true crime podcasts and be sure to check out her fingernails when you see her! While she still has room in her heart and home for a dog she currently has three cats. When Oliver isn’t eating you will find him curled up for a catnap. Scooter is your typical orange cat always keeping his family on their toes. Last but not least Nina is the boss of the household and she runs a tight ship.
A career involving animal care has always been in Starr’s dreams, especially working with orthopedic cases, which is also why she enjoys working part time with Edinger Surgical Options in Madison. Her favorite parts of veterinary medicine are continually learning new information and that every day and each animal is different from the last. You can often find Starr doting over inpatients as her philosophy is “kisses and tail wags make even the worst day better.” “ Whether you’re a client, patient or team member, everyone is treated with compassion and respect.
